Based in Footscray, Melbourne, Rosa McIntosh is the heart and soul of La Sarta, which means “The Seamstress” in Italian—a name that reflects Rosa’s deep commitment to her craft. Since beginning her journey in 1996, she has honed her expertise and services in dressmaking, fabric sourcing, and pattern making, making her a trusted partner for both discerning private clients and industry fashion designers.

Beyond the studio, Rosa’s commitment to the future of fashion is evident in her role as a lecturer in VET and Bachelor degree programs, where she mentors and inspires the next generation of designers.
